
Ivy had this picture mounted and sent to her sister whilst working in Grimsby, sadly there isn’t a date or the sister’s name but judging by the writing on the back the sister may not have been very old. It’s a beautiful image from a bygone age.

Three Little Maids, not quite the three little maids from the 1902 musical, nor the three little maids from school …. pert as a school girl well can be, but three maids from the 1940 / 50 sewing in a kitchen somewhere.
