The Bells of St. Mary’s

Ingrid Bergman (29th August 1915 – 29th August 1982) was a Swedish actress noted for her starring roles in American films.

The Bells of St. Mary’s is a 1945 film which tells the story of a priest and a nun at a school who set out, despite their good-natured rivalry, to save the school from being shut down. It stars Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman. The character of Father O’Malley had been previously portrayed by Crosby in the 1944 film Going My Way,  for which Crosby had won the Academy Award for Best Actor.

Bergman plays Sister Mary Benedict with Joan Carroll, as Patricia “Patsy” Gallagher

Spam or Scam

Recently, I’m sure like many others I received the following email advising me that I am in line to inherit in the region of $10,000,000. Naturally being a trusting soul my heart leapt with joy at the prospect of an unknown relative leaving such a vast sum; passing over my children, brother, sister, mother and a whole tribe of cousins.

Watching much too much television heir hunters is on the viewing list; therefore if this is genuine wouldn’t they have already found my address and relatives through their extensive search process? Clearly not. No unclaimed wealth for me, it looks like I won’t be able to give the two finger salute to the jobcentre just yet. Perhaps I might take advantage of the numerous emails informing me that I have won the lottery, but again unlikely as I don’t do it. Back to the job hunting – anyone know of any openings in an online sex shop????
