Silent Films
This is a still from an old film which may be a silent film. The actresses are unknown as is the title of the film. The woman without the wimple may either be just joining the order or leaving. The addition of the short black veil on the two Nuns is interesting, but may just be the director’s addition rather than an accurate copy of an original habit.
The image is cut a little short as the original is approximately A3 which is slightly larger than my scanner.

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress.
