I don’t know whether this is the correct title for this charming set of six postcards printed by Neue Photographische Gesellschaft (NPG) in 1904 or even if there is a title, however I thought it appropriate. I found them at a collectors fair last week on a very wet Sunday in Brighton. The find made me smile and the visit worthwhile, although a visit at the end of damp and soggy day to a small antique shop where I discovered twenty five cards of Gabrielle Ray, Lily Elsie and Maude Fealy totally lifted my spirits.
