True Till Death
I went to an antique fair yesterday and found this beautiful late Victorian lithographic print, it isn’t worth much but I returned several times to the seller, captivated by the models face. The semi religious theme is typical of the period and I seem to remember my Nan having similar prints when I was a child. Sadly it is a little damaged which I have “repaired” with Serfi but I expect that to have it professionally repaired, re-mounted and framed will make it total cost much more that it is worth, especially as the original only cost £7.00 – but for the pleasure of viewing it daily it will be worth it.
sometimes you just find these postcards/images that just strikes you, even though it isn’t worth much doesn’t mean it’s not great. Gotta admit I do like this one.
I usually buy what I like rather than because it might be worth something, my kids will have a great time clearing out my “treasures” when I “pop off” – as long as they sell it rather than dump it all I wont mind although I will be upset if my Gabrielle Ray collection gets split up – I feel a haunting coming on 😀

It’s a lovely piece.
