Sin City: A Dame To Kill
A new poster for ‘Sin City’ sequel ‘A Dame To Kill For’ has fallen foul of the Motion Picture Association of America.
The MPAA, the US movie classification board, has banned the promo, featuring Eva Green’s character Ava Lord, the titular ‘dame to kill for’, due to the racy imagery.
According to Page Six, filmmakers Dimension were told that it was being vetoed ‘for nudity – curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown’.
The description is arguably ruder than the poster itself.
According to reports, Dimension are hoping to ‘reach a compromise’ on the poster before the film is due out in the US on August 22.
