My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress. I also have a love of old pictures, postcards and Edwardian Actresses, in particular Miss Gabrielle Ray which I hope to share at regular intervals. As my collection has grown I have set up another blog which contains only pictures of Miss Ray. Gabrielle Ray Thank you for viewing and comments are welcome.

That’s a great find. We do so love our pets! I wonder if there was a memorial ceremony of sort, if this was made for a kid who asked to have a ‘funeral’ in the family backyard, or this was a grown man with wealth who buried his dog with pomp.
It was an unusual find unfortunately I was pipped at the post last night, £35, can you believe it. My wife collects memorium cards and this is the first pet card we’ve seen.
I wonder whether they had the traditional “ham tea” afterwards? 😉
Wow! I believe it. Anything unusual hikes up the price. But £35? Damn
True, my wife only wanted to pay £10 but my final bid was £30, crazy prices lol
