Two Nurses c 1900
This cabinet card was advertised as either two maids or two nurses, judging by the scissors hanging from the belt of the person on the left and her detachable sleeves they are both nurses probably from the 1914 – 18 war. I believe that nurses in the current series Anzac Girls wore such items and the detachable sleeves and petticoats being utilised as bandages in an emergency.
