The back of this card is inscribed “To Edie with love from Jauie?” I’m hoping that “Jauie” is the maid standing at the back on the right wearing an apron, she has a lovely smile and “dancing” eyes.

This is a rather nice picture of an Edwardian Maid, I suspect from the back of the card “Copies or enlargements from this Photo may be obtained from J. Deayton, 203 Wimborne Rd., Winton, Bournmouth, by quoting No. 564B” that she had this taken for her family or loved one. However I wouldn’t recommend using it with a job application as her laundry / ironing skills need to be honed, although she may have spent too much time ensuring that her collar and cuffs were thoroughly starched.
