Vintage Sunday
Tomorrow I plan to post several risqué cards from my collection which arrived this week. There are also some patriotic cards from the WWI era, they came from my Nanna’s postcard collection who had a Brother, like thousands of others died defending their country. The cards I put on eBay and I debated for quite a while whether to sell them or not as they must have had a significance during those long years but as none had been posted or had any message I decided not to keep them. I hope that anyone who looks in tomorrow will enjoy them.

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress. I also have a love of old pictures, postcards and Edwardian Actresses, in particular Miss Gabrielle Ray which I hope to share at regular intervals.
