My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress. Ahh, my childhoods hero 🙂
I remember The Famous Five rather than Pooh but still nice stories and simple illustrations
The Norwegian translation was read to me when I was a small kid and I read it to my own daughters. As you say a nice story, and a lot better illustration than the commercialized crap Disney turned it into.
