1909 – 1987
Many families in Södermalm had declared financial difficulties caused by the 1909 hard labour dispute. In the same year was organized because a hospitality business for small children. In April 1911 founded the Association for Husmodersskolor childcare, among others, Crown Princess Margareta, who himself became honorary president and actively participated in all the work of the association. Association (reconstituted to the Foundation in 1948) started a home school, Maria Husmodersskola, for the education of girls in the cooking and housework. The course was one year and also included instruction in child care.

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress.
