School Uniform
When I bought this card I thought that the child might have been dressing up but thought that the uniform fit looked too good for that,
I asked Camille Langtry who suggested that she was probably wearing a school uniform which was the style of the period.

This might not appeal to some “pc” viewers as the two children have clearly “blacked up” for the picture,
I gather from the comments on the reverse of the postcard that the Nurse’s uniform has also been worn as a costume.

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress.
