Key Workers
My daughter is a key worker, working at a local supermarket, she, like many others have had to take the difficult decision of whether to risk the health of her young children, aged 3 years and 10 years, whilst working or send them to us until this situation is over, the 15 year old decided to stay at home; a difficult and distressing decision. Many of us don’t like the current government, however the message from the professionals is simple and clear, “Stay at Home” not rocket science, so be good people and help to reduce and prevent the spread of COVID 19 then she and the thousands throughout the country and world can return to “normality.” It’s equally important to remember that as long as this lasts many people will be denied to opportunity to sit, hug and say goodbye to loved ones dying in hospital, for many perhaps more unbearable than not being with their children.

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress.
