Grumpy old fart!!!

"If you talk to God you're religious. If God talks to you, you're psychotic."

Audrey Hepburn

Disney animators were inspired by European stars and Belle’s European facial features by those of British actresses Vivien Leigh and Audrey Hepburn. Several additional Hollywood actresses inspired Belle’s appearance, including Natalie Wood, Elizabeth Taylor, and Grace Kelly. But Audrey was used as a model primarily for her face’s round features. Not only was Hepburn used as one of the visual models for animators when creating Belle, but the iconic ball gown Belle wears in the waltz scene from the Oscar-nominated film is directly inspired by the royal gown which Audrey wore in Roman Holiday in the beginning of the film which was designed by the legendary Edith Head and even the smallest of details are uncanny.

Edwardian Lady?

I’m not sure whether this is a genuine Edwardian Lady or someone dressing the part but it’s a lovely picture.

I believe that she is Vanessa Parker, an actress taken in 1900.
