Saint Ives
Saint Ives is the town where I was born, although I have no desire to return it’s always lovely to see nostalgic images of my home town.

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress. I also have a love of old pictures, postcards and Edwardian Actresses, in particular Miss Gabrielle Ray which I hope to share at regular intervals. Grumpy old fart!!! 
It’s a lovely little town, I lived there for 16 years and have some great memories. But like you I have no great desire to return.
I left in 1980 and have only returned a couple of times, still a nice town but it has changed so much since I left
