My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress. I also have a love of old pictures, postcards and Edwardian Actresses, in particular Miss Gabrielle Ray which I hope to share at regular intervals. Grumpy old fart!!! 
I managed to get a DVD of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, I have always liked Moon River one of the few songs where the words resonate with me.
My daughter bought me a boxed set several years ago and Breakfast at Tiffany’s remains one of my favourites although The Nun’s Story is in equal place, the book by Kathryn Hulme was well worth reading
