My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress. I also have a love of old pictures, postcards and Edwardian Actresses, in particular Miss Gabrielle Ray which I hope to share at regular intervals. Grumpy old fart!!! 
Not a woman, Yva Richard was the name of company created by L. Richard, a photographer I believe, and his muse, Nativa. Yva Richard was one of the main purveyors of fetish products during the 1930’s. The Company started in 1913 and operated for 30 years, working at Studio 9, Rue Pillet-Will. Paris. Their original adverts in 1917 were for costume and high-end lingerie, though they also were into other stuff.
Thank you, Yva Richard produced some amazing images and the title, much like Jean Ahelou, Biederer etc is about drawing attention to the name rather than the individual model
