My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a âGrumpy old fartâ, so what better forum to spread my doom,  gloom and paranoia than WordPress. No, it hasn’t been posted or written on, but the style is similar to Jean Agelou images which are c1920
It is rare to find vintage photos of toilets, that’s why I’m interested. I’ve found this is one of a set of at least three photos. In the first one the girl is still standing, in the second one she is sitting down and reading a French newspaper, and the third one is the one you’ve posted. The pics are usually titled “Housemaid on the toilet, 1910s, Germany” but that is a bit doubtful because of the French newspaper. Why I care about sparcely documented areas of human behaviour though is a mystery, even to me…
