Carrie Nation
Caroline Amelia Nation (25th November 1846 – 9th June 1911), often referred to by Carrie, Carry Nation, or Hatchet Granny,
was a radical member of the temperance movement, which opposed alcohol before the advent of Prohibition.
Nation is noted for attacking alcohol-serving establishments (most often taverns) with a hatchet.

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress.
