An interesting nursing ward setting, early 1900’s by the look of the uniforms, not sure what the plants are about.
The photographer / printer was E. W. Appleby, 27 Hertford St. Coventry.
Reasons for admission
I particularly like one reason for admission the “over study of religion,” although I doubt that many priests were admitted for this reason,
usually it was women who were put into asylums for not filling their perceived role and being a “bad woman”

My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom, gloom and paranoia than WordPress.
