My wife, bless her tells me that I am rapidly becoming, or perhaps that should read have become a “Grumpy old fart”, so what better forum to spread my doom,  gloom and paranoia than WordPress. I also have a love of old pictures, postcards and Edwardian Actresses, in particular Miss Gabrielle Ray which I hope to share at regular intervals. As my collection has grown I have set up another blog which contains only pictures of Miss Ray. Gabrielle Ray Thank you for viewing and comments are welcome.

but ok to be honest, have meet some good looking Liverpudlians around but not there so maybe they leave town quickly 🙂 but love Liverpool though, excellent town…
To be honest, I’m not sure that I have meet any Liverpudlians so I can’t really comment on their looks, however the accent drives me mad, we have a Tom Tom – sat nav and “Jane” a real God send as my navigation is appalling has a slight Liverpudlian accent which is more noticeable when she uses the phrase “go round the round about”; what ever happened to “The Queen’s English”?
HAHAHA… omg, a tom tom with that accent, nah, don’t think I could stand that, I guess they want u to feel more relaxed or something with someone with an local accent but hell yeah, I take the queens english any day over that one. At my previous work at Air France, the girl who put the ‘Welcome to Air France, please hold and we will take your… bla bla’ had an american accent(???), why??? it’s a french company and you called the UK line, either have a french accent or go with the UK one, not an american droning accent, so so awful…
